The Willunga Creek Wines cellar door is 45 minutes south of Adelaide. We are open every weekend and public holidays from 11am-5pm for wine tastings, platters and authentic curries in winter. Bookings are essential. We’re also open by appointment during the week or for buses.
Our cellar door was once a shearing shed, known locally as Blackers Shed. From the early 1940s shearers would come far and wide every year to shear their flocks. The last shearing of 1000 sheep was in January 2007. We then set about restoring the shed to make it home to Willunga Creek Wines.
We promise all those… organic… smells have long gone – but we do love the natural, earthy aromas of our cellar door, mixed with hints of blackcurrant, pepper, chocolate and spice from our wines.
